COMP:DF: Ibuprofen: Tab 200mg, 400mg, 600mg

MOA: COX inhibitor→ synthesis of PG ↓ → analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic

CI: Known hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or other NSAIDs, hematopoietic DO, RI, asthma, allergic reactions to ASA

AE: Nausea, pyrosis, GI ulcers, rash

W&P: HI/RI/CI; CH<12yo; concomitant ASA Tx or ASA allergy; caution if PUD, asthma, HTN; PRC D, Lact -

IND:DOS: Relief of mild to moderate pain including dental pain, post-op pain, migraine, dysmenorrhea headache, arthralgia, non-articular rheumatic conditions, rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoarthritis, fever: Adults & CH>40kg: 1200-1800mg PO/24h in div doses, max 2400mg/24h; CH: 20mg/Kg BW/dose
